A lot of people cannot imagine how easily our SMS Gateway can help them in the day to day running of businesses and activities. As such we have come up with this section which will help you understand what can be done or achieved using our service.
We have created a few examples of how you can use our SMS Broadcasting Service to:
- send SMS to your recipient(s); or
- receive inbound requests.
Both function the same way. For an outbound message, you can send outgoing messages to your recipients while with an inbound sms, you can trigger the sending of a response (information) based on the SMS received from your recipients.
SHOWCASE 1: Sending of Voucher Codes for discounts
You may send voucher codes to your users as a promotion or discount for your services.
The user can either send an inbound SMS first to request for the voucher code or you may use the outbound SMS to push voucher codes to your existing database.
To see how this works, you may send the following SYNTAX to our shortcode number 32355* (Charges Applicable. Please see below).
Syntax: SMS SAMPLE VOUCHER
If done correctly, you will receive a sample SMS on your phone showing you how a voucher message can look like on your customer's phone. This message is fully customisable.
SHOWCASE 2: Sending of PIN/PUK Codes for transactions
You may send Pin/Puk codes to your users. This can be used for transactional security for your applications.
The user can either send an inbound SMS first to request for the pin code or you may use the outbound SMS to push pin codes to the individual(s).
To see how this works, you may send the following SYNTAX to our shortcode number 32355* (Charges Applicable. Please see below).
Syntax: SMS SAMPLE PIN
If done correctly, you will receive a randomly generated PIN/PUK on your phone. This message is fully customisable.
SHOWCASE 3: Sending of Password Codes for account registration or password retrivals
You may send Password codes to your users just the same as above. This can be used for login security for your applications.
The user can either send an inbound SMS first to request for the password code or you may use the outbound SMS to push password codes to the individual(s).

Syntax: SMS SAMPLE PASSWORD
If done correctly, you will receive your password on your phone. This message is fully customisable.
SHOWCASE 4: Receiving of Feedback / Comments or New Submissions from Customers
You may receive inbound feedback and comments from your existing or new customers. This can be used for performance checking or to capture new database to better your service.
User(s) can either send an inbound SMS with feedback or comments which can be captured on database and processed accordingly.

If done correctly, you will receive confirmation that your feedback or submission has been received successfully. This message is fully customisable.
